The
first time I heard Neil Peart...
1981... It
was after midnight, and I was listening to my clock radio when I heard "Tom
Sawyer" for the first time. Even playing on that tiny mono speaker, I heard the
power of those drums and the intensity of the band, Rush. Things would never be
the same for me.
Due to Neil's influence, I became a drummer and a writer, and continue to do both to
this day (23 years later).
