Steve Grala's Tama replica kit

Hi Andy. Here are some pictures of my Neil Peart replica kit. I have been a fan of Neil since the early 80's when a cousin of mine lent me some of his rush albums. I started to play drums at age 12, Neil being the reason I wanted to learn how to play after listening to those albums (2112, Hemispheres and Permanent Waves).

The first time I saw Rush live was on the Signals Tour at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago. I was hooked! I still love the challenge of playing Rush songs to this day!

My kit is all Tama Imperialstars; most of them are midnight blue.14x24 bass,14x22 bass, 6,8,10,12 concert toms. 8x12,9x13 closed toms and 12x15 concert tom converted to closed.16x16,16x18 and 18x20 floor toms.5.5x14 superstar snare, 3x12 hand hammered piccolo snare. 9x13 Superstar concert tom converted to a 6x13 timbale. Sabian and Paiste cymbals. Gon Bops cow bells and Tama hardware.

Thanks for the great site,

Steve Grala
