Neil Peart's early record collection

When Neil was 16 years old, he owned 10 LP records:

"As I approached my sixteenth birthday, I was the proud owner of ten LPS, lined up cover outward on a shelf in my room, alternating the one on display in front: the first three Who albums, My Generation, Happy Jack1, and The Who Sell Out; two by Jimi Hendrix, Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold as Love; Cream’s Disraeli Gears; Blue Cheer’s Vincebus Eruptum; Traffic’s Reaping2; and the eponymous debut albums by the Grateful Dead and Moby Grape (I could reproduce their loopy, psychedelic logo perfectly, and did, along with the other bands’, all over my schoolbooks)."

Editor's notes:

1 The Who's second album was released under the original title A Quick One (UK, New Zealand - 1966). In 1967, the album was released in North America as Happy Jack. The title A Quick One returned on all releases after 1974.

2 Traffic's album Reaping has an interesting history. After being unable to locate this album on any online stores, I discovered that it was released as Reaping only in Canada in 1967. In most other countries, it was released as Mr. Fantasy.
